It is quite uncommon in current elite gymnastics to see complicated tucked vaults of any entry, and as such, the handspring tuck 1.5 is not typically performed. It has also received among the most aggressive downgrade missions in the last two code updates, dropping more than a point from its value in 2016. While most downgraded vaults were slashed 0.4 on each occasion, this vault lost 0.5 the first time around and 0.6 the second.
