Handstand to one arm
Performing a one-arm handstand is infinitely cooler than performing a regular handstand and immediately moves the press handstand from a practical, gymnastical way to get onto the beam into a total show-off move. And I mean that in the best possible way. There’s not so much reward for one-arm handstands on beam in terms of skill value—this thing is only a C—but there’s definitely reward in terms of getting a round of applause from those soda-guzzling chicken nuggets you’re performing in front of because they lose it for a one-arm anything every time.
And that’s really what the sport is all about, isn’t it?
