The term Schleudern has made its way back into familiar gymnastics terminology after a long absence thanks to Ruby Harrold’s uncovering of the Zuchold-Schleudern, though the Schleudern is itself an independent type of skill, describing the underswing and then rising up to a “dislocation” position. That basic move is its own skill, though valued at just an A.

I also feel like…don’t say dislocate. Dislocating your shoulder is something different.
