Kip to straddle handstand
The straddle kip is essentially a normal glide kip, but where the gymnast straddles swinging back toward the bar instead of making contact with the bar and casting up to handstand. You won’t typically see this in modern elite gymnastics. (because why?) In other levels or older gymnastics, you will commonly see the same general principle applied, but where the gymnast will make contact with the low bar in straddle and bounce up to the high bar, which is not permitted in elite.
