About
There are a couple variations of non-split ring jumps that gymnasts can perform for B (0.2) value. By far the more common is the stag ring, requiring a bent-leg stag position shown from both legs with back arch and head release. Some gymnastics codes will also allow for a double stag jump—same leg position, no requirement for head release—but that no longer exists in the international beam code.
Far less common but equally valued is the regular ring jump—same position with the back leg and head release, but a straight front leg. The description of this element changed slightly in 2025, from being a “ring jump” to being a “sissone to ring position,” requiring a split position like a sissone but with a bent back leg. Just to make sure the 0% of people doing that element somehow got even lower.
