I’ve been watching various SEC, Pac-12 and NCAA championship meets on Youtube semi-chronologically recently. I’m currently up to the 2016 season and I have to say that there has been a marked improvement in quality of gymnastics overall in 2022 compared to even 6 years ago. So impressed with the polish and consistency of this current generation of NCAA gymnasts.
Getting a 10.0 at conference championships is more impressive than other meets based on having to get a 10.0 from all 4 judges.
yes, except you only need 3 because the highest and lowest scores are thrown out and the two left are averaged. So still impressive but not quite so difficult!
