The back handspring mount has probably seen the second-greatest boon (next to the candle mount) from the Great Mount Upgrade of 2017 that took it from a C element—no different than any of the other C acro elements you already have in your routine, and therefore why bother—to an infinitely useful and countable D element.

The hand support inherent in a back handspring keeps this mount from being too, too risky compared to other D mounts or D elements in general, which makes it particularly appealing. Is it now a little over-valued at D? Probably, but if it encourages less boring mounts, I’m all for it.
