The Moors enjoyed a solid 6-year reign as the most difficult skill in gymnastics with its I-rating—awarded at the 2013 world championships—until Simone Biles passed it with her triple-twisting double tuck, which was given a J.
The difficulty of maintaining a layout shape through a double double should preclude nearly every gymnast from performing it, but that hasn’t stopped a number of non-Simones from trying it over the last few years. It usually goes…eh.
